I have been preparing taxes for 30 years and an Enrolled Agent since 2014. My motto is: Relief Resolution Results. Tax Resolution became overwhelmingly important to my clients about ten years ago and I had some that needed my help getting out of a tough spot with both the IRS and CA FTB. It was out of the frying pan and into the fire as I negotiated Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, removed bank holds and levies as well as garnishments. Penalty Abatement was next. Whew! They needed me and I rose to the occasion! As the referrals came in for being A FIXER OF PROBLEMS, I became well versed in unfiled returns and can easily do 3, 4, even 12 years worth of returns with no problem. Amendments became our intimate friend. I am an expert at Forensic Taxes and can recreate expenses for the client that has little to no receipts. Experience has made me a Specialist in Negotiating the Lowest Possible IRS Payment Amount allowable by law. I was a National Virtual Instructor for Advanced Courses with H&R Block for 13 years and still give Tax Talks locally on various issues to non-profits, Places of Worship and Real Estate companies. I've written Articles on current tax topics for Linked-In and have been often quoted in the Bakersfield Californian. With the laws and rules changing so fast at the IRS and on the state level, it is crucial to stay constantly updated! I find teaching and writing force me to do this above and beyond what is required for the various credentials I hold. Besides loving what I do, I found out many years ago that I like pushing up against the line with taxing authorities, never crossing it or violating ethics, but going toe-to-toe and fighting for my clients. In finding my clients the sense of relief that comes with resolution, it is a rush to see them experience a long awaited sense of peace. Happily married for 30 years now, having children ranging from 42 to 2, having exceptional and astounding grandchildren, nothing compares to my first great-grandchild!
