About Stephen Ralph
Stephen D. Ralph is the founding attorney of Ralph Law Group, P.C., where he brings a wealth of legal experience and a commitment to client-focused advocacy in the areas of tax law, business law, and estate planning.
Stephen earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law and has served in diverse, high-impact legal roles across both public and private sectors. He began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to Senior Justice Petra Jimenez Maes of the New Mexico Supreme Court. He later served as a Senior Trial Attorney at the Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted major felonies, crimes against children, white-collar offenses, and cases involving special victims.
Most recently, Stephen served as a Senior Attorney at the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel. In this capacity, he represented the IRS in the United States Tax Court, specializing in large business and international tax matters. He led national trial teams and litigated complex, high-stakes tax cases across the country.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (cum laude) and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico, where he was selected to the New Mexico Law Review. He later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis.
A licensed attorney in both Texas and New Mexico, Stephen is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the Internal Revenue Service, and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the District of New Mexico. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, State Bar of New Mexico, Dallas Bar Association, and Tarrant County Bar Association.
Stephen is a proud veteran of the United States Army. He lives in Euless, Texas with his Great Dane, Max, who also serves as the firm's “furalegal.” Outside the office, Stephen enjoys rock climbing, traveling, public speaking, and community service. He is a Distinguished Toastmaster, a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association, and an active member of Rotary International.
