About Matt Osterwyk
Osterwyk Accounting and Business Services, Inc. is a tax preparation, tax resolution and accounting-based firm in Plymouth, MI. Since its formation in 2012, the firm has made investments in technology to reach a broader area of professional tax and accounting service areas. The firm’s primary tax professional, Matt Osterwyk, has over 20 years of accounting and tax experience and has helped numerous personal and business clients with their accounting and tax needs.
Tax code and law is an evolving and complex topic, with multiples changes each year. Our founder, Matt Osterwyk holds a BA in business/tax, and an MBA in business. Similar to all credentialed tax professionals (aka PTIN), we are required to maintain a minimum of continuing education hours for licensure. To ensure we offer our clients the best professional services, we continually seek opportunities to learn as much as possible about accounting and tax law.
Our approach is simple- every person who calls us, walks through our door, or meets virtually with our firm shall be treated with respect. You will be shown the same level of professionalism whether or not you become our client. We will never promise you something that we know or reasonably cannot expect to achieve for your needs. No tax firm can or should offer a complete one-stop service for every business need, and we respect that philosophy in the professional world. If a current or prospective client needs a professional service we do not offer, we will help connect you with a professional that fits your specific needs. We value your time and if we cannot create a professional relationship for your tax, accounting or payroll needs, we feel it is our responsibility to help guide you to a firm that can help you successfully complete your tasks.
“We are not the smallest and we are not the largest- we are the firm of the future that helps you on a path to success in the tax and accounting world.” -Matt Osterwyk
