Thank you for reviewing my resume as shown below. I recently retired from the IRS and worked in the Small Business, Large Business and Appeals Divisions. My qualifications are:
(1) I am a Tax professional with 40 years experience at the IRS as an IRS Appeals Officer and Revenue Agent.
(2) I represent individuals and corporations before the IRS and resolve IRS income tax audits and tax issues such as large penalty abatements and IRS audits. I recently resolved a trust fund penalty case exceeding $9 million as well as large late-filing, accuracy, and fraud penalties.
(2) I am a CPA and an IRS Enrolled Agent with a Masters Degree in Tax.
(2) I ask my clients to first send me an email message including the IRS letter(s) they've received so I can analyze their IRS problems. PLEASE NOTE that I only handle IRS AUDITS, PENALTY ABATEMENTS OVER $50,000, large AUDIT RECONSIDERATIONS, OFFERS in COMPROMISE- DOUBT AS TO LIABILITY, and TRUST FUND PENALTIES OVER $100,000.
(2) I was a member of the Fee Arbitration Committee of the Broward County Bar association.
(3) I lectured on many occasions before the Florida Institute of CPA's and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Tax Council.
(4) As an IRS Appeals Officer, I resolved hundreds of taxpayer disputes for individuals, corporations, estates, trust fund penalties, accuracy penalties, failure to file penalties, fraud and preparer penalties, and Offers in Compromise. In addition, many cases I work involve possible litigation before the U.S. Tax Court.
(5) I was an expert witness on a Breach of Contract case where the initial proposed liability was $1 million and it was later reduced to $52,000.
