Stephen cared about my tax problems. He always got back toe within 24 hours. On a Friday I has something come up that I was sure would ruin my weekend worrying over it but Stephen got back to me with the needed information and helped me solve the problem. I would reccommend this lawyer to anyone

Upon submitting information to Steve, he evaluated and made recommendations as to developing a plan to work with. Once we agreed he went to work with the agencies involved to resolve.

I had a complex lien/tax situation with the IRS that involved my diseased parents' property sale with the proceeds going to myself and two other family members. The lien had been placed on the property by the IRS 10 years earlier and was discovered - to our surprise - by the closing attorney right before it's closing. The IRS wanted my share of the sale (approximately $40K) for alleged 'unreported' income and back taxes). Thus, the W Tax Group/Stephen Weisberg was hired by me for the purpose of a) by removing the two family members from the property lien and allowing the house sale to go thru, and b) my share of the sale was to be allocated to the IRS and the lien removed. Over time Stephen was able to successfully have the two family members removed from the lien and the property sale was completed in early 2020. The lien against my share of the property sale was removed in early January 2022. The complete lien removal was a long process since it occurred right in the middle of the pandemic with its accompanying grief and staff shortages. However, Stephen was a 'bulldog' and diligently kept plugging away until he got the necessary resolution. For that amazing and successful outcome my family and I have sung his praise and, of course, would use the W Tax Group again if the need ever arose.

The W Tax Group was the best choice to handle my tax situation. As everyone I was scared and nervous with which firm to choose but when I called The W Tax Group Amy answered and she was the handshake I needed. She was compassionate and caring and walked me through every step to make it affordable for me and my situation. They all answered my calls & emails every time and answered my questions in depth. The Attorney (Stephen A. Weisberg) went to work right away on my case. They gathered all the necessary information and documents and did not skip a beat. They found the perfect solution for my situation and went to work hard to get the best outcome! My situation was a rather difficult one but they never made me feel like it was impossible! Ultimately we resolved with IRS and to say the least my tax debt is now resolved!! I highly recommend them to everyone and anyone because they truly care about their clients and make you feel like you are their top priority. Their whole team is amazing!!!!

Currently Not Collectible
Review
My wife and I found ourselves in debt to the IRS for 2017 taxes, because of the financial and tax pitfalls of the Unaffordable Care Act. Mr. Weisberg's company worked with us throughout the COVID -caused delays and IRS incompetence to secure a desirable result. Along the way, someone at the IRS misconstrued a $500 Offer In Compromise to be a request for a repayment plan of $500 monthly payments (which were out of our reach). Finally, our debt was declared to be Currently Not Collectible. Thanks to Mr. Weisberg and his associates. Pricey, yes, but ultimately worth it.
