Patrice L. Berry, who has been preparing tax returns for over 20 years and is more commonly known as 'The Tax Cop,' finally decided that at the end of March 2020, she would take a chance and do what she loves full-time. Patrice always ran her tax practice, but she did that while also having a full-time job as an Office of Inspector General Auditor (DoD and DoC) for 21 years; being a fitness instructor; wife, mother, and Girl Scout Troop leader. She finally had to give up the government hustle because it was too much to handle. Not only does she prepare taxes, but she successfully educates her clients on their current year's tax returns and helps plan for future years. She received her Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation back in 2011. She is an Enrolled Agent (able to represent taxpayers in all fifty states) and owner of an accounting and tax firm, she provides tax preparation, planning, and resolution services for individuals and small businesses.
