We had a fairly complex tax situation with multiple states, property, ex-spouse issues, and incomplete records due to a flood on top of a cross country move. The tax planning boutique was everything we were hoping for and more. Calm, cool, research driven, never giving an answer without laws and regulations that a printed out copy with notes can be reviewed. This company is woman owned and operated, I was never talked down to or given irrelevant similes or metaphors. Instead, my questions and worries were spoken about, reflected in a way that made me feel heard and understood by the entire staff. I highly recommend contacting Lubna and her team for all your strange weird and unique tax situations as well as the every day business. Absolutely a pleasure to work with someone who is a competent, kind, and professional. Parking is easy. Right next to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse. Excellent location. Easy to find. ADA compliant. Simply put, Lubna Channo and her firm, Tax Planning Boutique, is the best source of guidance and tax planning for any practice or business set up as an S-Corp that I have ever encountered or experienced since becoming a dentist in 1986. She knows the ins and outs of the tax code and how best to apply it to her clients advantage. For years, I had suffered at the hands of a CPA whose mere objective, so it seemed, was to just fill out and complete the boxes on the tax forms. There was no strategy and no attention to detail and the impact of this 'hands off' approach was devastating to my financial situation. I owed the government thousands every year! Ms. Channo took control, it was not easy believe me, but her command of my circumstances and her firm guiding hand averted disaster and has set me back on the right course. She takes time.
