Karen is very good at working at discovering the issues, working on the smallest of details and providing the needed services to resolve any issues with taxes and accounting. After 5 years, NY sent notices of taxes due that were not due and Karen handled it with easy to resolve.

Karen Miller did great work in assisting with my 2020 amended S Corp tax return filing. She also had a fast turn around time on the preparation of my 2022 S Corp, Individual Federal, and Individual Arizona tax return as we were approaching the deadline due to the results of my prior CPA being too overwhelmed give my matters the attention they required. Karen is kind, professional, prompt, and a joy to work with as she's easily accessible to her clients.

Karen Miller is true professional who takes her role as a CPA very seriously. We needed to get our books in order and streamline the complicated tax process of the day-to-day operations of a PEO, and Karen was the best person for the job. There was quite a mess she inherited from our previous accounting team members, but she quite diligently followed up with the IRS and the FL Dept of Revenue and successfully abated proposed penalties. Additionally, although we filed our W2s with the Soc Sec administration, and we provided the W2s to the employees timely and paid all taxes timely, the IRS was proposing a $42k penalty for late filing. Karen sent an expertly written letter to the IRS arguing that there should be no penalty assessed since the late filing of the W2s has/had no effect or delay for the 600+ employees to file their taxes. We expect to receive word shortly that the abatement argument was successful. Also, Karen is helping to argue with the IRS a penalty they assessed on our 940 due to our state unemployment taxes being filed a few minutes past the deadline during the COVID shutdowns in 2020, yet the state never assessed or addressed a late filing/payment. Needless to say, Karen has had her hands full with our company, yet she calmly and very professionally addressed all of our needs expertly. I can't recommend her enough!

Karen has been a godsend for our company. We had a previous accountant who we discovered did not code transactions or file any of our taxes properly for multiple years. We were shocked to find issues with federal tax, state tax, payroll tax, and more. Karen was able to perform 3 years worth of accounting cleanup and got us back on track so that moving forward everything is being done correctly and consistently. She worked tirelessly with the IRS and State of Florida so that we could be sure our issues were fully resolved, and with fees reduced or totally removed! Because we had problems with how payroll taxes were being filed, she also coordinated with our former payroll provider to rectify issues caused on their end. As a vacation rental management company, our income and transactions are recorded differently than most other businesses. This industry requires a very experienced accountant to be able to develop appropriate income and tax procedures to ensure everything is tracked and recorded properly. Karen was also able to build custom automations in our Quickbooks Online account to make our books significantly easier to balance. This is something that no other accountant has been able to accomplish in the over 22 years we've been in business.
