About Joyce Mohr
Graduating Boston University in 1988 with a degree in English Literature, Joyce began her accomplished career managing a retail tax office for a major US preparation company where she thrived for 20 years. During this period of time, she taught continuing education classes to tax preparers in areas including international, rental, depreciation, and Part II of the Special Enrolled Agent Test Preparation course through MaSEA.
In 2007, Joyce became an Enrolled Agent and in 2014 she became a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute.
In 2011, Joyce relocated from Mass to Maine and purchased her own office, Taxes Plus Corporation, where she specializes in tax preparation and consulting on a variety of tax issues.
Joyce has shown exceptional dedication to her work in the tax industry and is considered a leader in the field, having served six years on the board of MaSEA (Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents), the last two as President. In 2013 she was honored with recognition as Massachusetts Enrolled Agent of the year. She has further served six years in the NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents) both on the Board Nominating Committee and on the Bylaws and Governance Committee.
