Amend Tax Returns
Our local banking institution offered automatic RMD withdrawal from IRAs which my husband and I took advantage of starting in 2021 reporting tax year. The bank did do my IRA RMD but did not do my husbands RMD. We did not realize this until we gathered documents for our 2023 tax return. We were new clients with Howard Zarabet. He handled all the extra forms and walked us thru the filing of amended returns for 3 years. With Howard’s experience handling this very upsetting situation, the IRS accepted our amended returns without any penalties. I highly recommend HJ Zarabet and Associates, CPAs.
