Anxious, stressed, scared, depressed, overwhelmed, paranoid and helpless. This and worse is what I felt dealing with agents for several years of personal and business IRS and state tax debt. Why did I try to handle it myself? I did not know better. I felt pressured from the agencies to get financials/documents submitted by unreasonable deadlines. I allowed my pride to get in the way as I did not want to show anyone my business and personal financials. I was also concerned with the costs associated with having an attorney assist me. By the grace of God in answering my prayers, He led me to Attorney Gerard Levins. PLEASE read this, I do NOT wish the feelings I experienced for nearly TEN years on anyone. If you are in a similar situation albeit unfiled returns or unpaid tax, interest and penalty obligations do NOT ignore it, the IRS and State agents will NOT go away. Yes, there may be a period of time where you do NOT receive or hear anything, but trust me, these agencies and their agents do NOT go away.
