Erik Humphrey

Erik’s career in tax resolution and compliance began working alongside family in their tax preparation business in Carnation, Washington. Under the guidance of his father, Les, and his uncle, Mark, Erik developed a strong foundation built on integrity, trust, and client advocacy—values that continue to guide his work today.

Erik later expanded his expertise as a Tax Manager at a mid-sized accounting firm, where he worked extensively with complex tax matters, including IRS and Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) issues. He has helped individuals and small businesses resolve back tax filings, payment problems, notices, audits, and collection matters. During this time, he was fortunate to work alongside seasoned tax professionals with decades of experience, many of whom he is proud to call trusted colleagues and friends.

Today, Erik focuses on helping individuals and small businesses navigate IRS and Washington DOR challenges with clarity and confidence, providing practical, compliant solutions and clear communication throughout the tax resolution process.
