About Donald Jones
Don is a tax attorney with over 20 years of experience, helping both federal and state taxpayers with their tax needs. He specializes in representing individuals, partnerships, and corporations in front of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and all state taxing agencies. Highly skilled at navigating the maze of regulations, laws, and protocols for his clients, Don negotiates tax settlements and mediates on behalf of his clients.
Don is a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Tax Law Section. He owns Prudent Tax Advisors in Wilmington, Delaware, and he has been providing tax representation, tax prep, and IRS representation services for over 20 years.
After graduating from the Naval Academy and completing his service as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Don obtained his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993. He passed the Pennsylvania Bar exam and was admitted to the bar in November of 1993. Before establishing his own tax problem resolution firm, Don worked for a law firm, two accounting firms, and in the Trust Tax Department of a major investment bank.
