In addition to tax return preparation, Patrick helped us navigate through some issues when we received an unintended IRA distribution, which had the potential to create some big problems if we did not correct it properly. Patrick helped us sort it all out and reduced our stress tremendously. He spotted some errors on prior returns as well. Patrick is THE BEST. Getting a letter from the IRS saying that our Offer in Compromise would be nullified without a massive $10K+ payment in a few weeks was panic-inducing. He talked us off the ledge, requested more time from the IRS to sort out the problem, and reviewed our two previous returns. After finding mistakes in how they had been calculated, he submitted our amended returns and worked with the OIC office to keep them informed of what we were doing. Such a relief to have an advocate on our side!
