About Tevin Mitchell
Enrolled Agent is a federal license, and it lets me represent taxpayers before the IRS in all fifty states. Most people who call did nothing wrong. They got behind, life happened, and the mail kept coming. By the time we talk, the notices have usually been stacking up for a while.
Collections is where I come from. As a Network Partner with a national tax resolution firm I have worked more than thirty IRS cases. That work is payment plans, penalties taken off, hardship status for people who genuinely cannot pay anything right now, accounts corrected when the IRS has the numbers wrong, and back years of returns filed and brought current.
Transcripts come first. There is no point talking about a plan before we know what the IRS actually has on your account, and the balance sometimes turns out to be smaller than the notice said. Other times the honest answer is that you qualify for less than you hoped, and you will hear that just as plainly.
The practice is veteran owned and runs out of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Clients work with me from all over the country by phone, email, and secure upload. Call and you get the licensed agent who is doing the work. No call center, no case manager to get past first. The practice also carries professional liability insurance, which is the coverage that stands behind my work if I make a mistake.
Bookkeeping and tax preparation run year round too. Most collection problems I see started with records that got away from somebody, a year of receipts in a shoebox or books that never got set up in the first place. Clearing the balance is half the job. The other half is making sure it does not come back.
Nobody can promise the IRS will accept an offer, and you will not hear that promise from me. You get a look at the real account and a straight answer about your options. From there the paperwork and the phone calls are mine to handle.
