Bob is a tax attorney with a deep, up-to-date understanding of the tax code, and he represents clients with domestic and international tax matters in front of the IRS and state revenue agencies. His law office is a full-service tax firm that also prepares tax filings, answers questions, and helps businesses and individuals prepare for the future.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut. Then, he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with a Tax Certificate, denoting advanced study in tax law.
Before founding The Law Offices of O'Connor & Lyon, Bob worked at The Law Offices of Parent & Parent (IRS Medic). As the head of the firm's Domestic Tax Department, he helped hundreds of taxpayers resolve tax liabilities and controversies with the IRS and state revenue agencies. He also provided tax and estate planning services to both corporate and individual clients.
Bob is admitted to the Connecticut Bar, but he has also represented clients from across the world. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and attending UConn ice hockey games.
