About Nicholas Kokis
I have been practicing law for nearly thirty years, specializing in tax litigation and tax controversy services. I have a unique blend of government, private and public sector experience that differentiates me from most other practitioners by allowing me to address issues and anticipate potential risks in both a technical and practical manner. My experience as a trial attorney for the Internal Revenue Service, handling both civil and criminal matters, provides me with keen insight into the tax administration system, while my experience in private practice, planning and handling disputes for Fortune 500 companies, has provided me greater depth in international matters as well as more traditional tax compliance and accounting issues. I have a B.A. in Economics from Queens College, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
