Charlie J. Young

I first met Charles Young in 2007 when both of us were assisting an elderly woman who had been the victim of financial abuse. The client was in her late 70’s and was suffering from the early signs of dementia. It was discovered that she had been taken advantage of financially by a local tax preparer and the amount of money involved was substantial.
The tax preparer’s crimes were initially exposed by a local senior citizens organization who had been contacted by the police. Mr. Young was hired by this organization to prepare several years back taxes for the client which the local tax preparer had failed to do as well as resolve payment of federal and state back taxes and liens that were the result of the prior preparer’s malfeasance. I was hired to assist with various legal issues that arose in the case.
A couple of years after this matter was resolved, I hired Mr. Young to prepare our yearly taxes as my long-standing accountant had recently moved out of town. Mr. Young is an outstanding accountant. He provides excellent advice and our returns are always well prepared and timely filed. Moreover, Mr. Young is always available to discuss tax issues that arise during the year and his advice is straightforward and on point. I would highly recommend Charles Young to handle tax issues for clients.
