I got a settlement (approximately $100,000.000) from an investment that went sour. I was issued a W-2 for the settlement. My tax prepared H&R Block told me that it will have to be reported as income hence was taxable. I had doubts regarding this issue so I ask my cousin who knew a CPA (Tax Consultant) and referred me to him ( Roland ZITA ) this was after my return was already filed for that year . Upon Review by Mr. Zita, he advised me that my tax prepared did not know what she was doing and apparently lack the full knowledge of the TAX Code. Mr. Zita recommended that we file an amendment to recoup the tax my wife and I paid for that Tax year. Mr. Zita was God sent, he was able to get a refund of $20,000.00 plus. I will never make that mistake again and will retain him as my Tax Consultant who definitely knows and has a broad knowledge of the TAX CODE. Would I recommend Mr. Zita? That’s a no brainer …… If you want it done right, get Mr. Zita’s services. Is he reliable? That’s an understatement , HE’s THE BEST!
