Legacy Tax & Resolution Services, LLC is a reputable firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded by Stephan H. Brewer. He retired from a life of public service to pursue his passion for helping others after 20 years in the Air Force as a highly decorated Command Controller with multiple distinctive medals and decorations. Stephan joined the police force to serve in a smaller community after earning an accounting and finance degree from a top-rated institution. He completed his Master of Laws at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, receiving the prestigious certification as a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist from the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers.

In 2000, he bought two accounting and tax offices, bringing the total to five. Having a large firm with a 30% annual growth rate presented the practice with significant amounts of tax-related issues as a result of mistakes identified in new clients' returns. It was rare when his firm did not correct several of our new clients' past returns. In 2006, the firm shifted its focus to tax resolution, tax preparation, and tax planning. Stephan is a voracious learner who studied the industry's major practices and sought out all industry-specific education.
