I had years of Federal and State (VA and MD) back taxes that I wasn’t aware of. I had travelled overseas for 10 years, only to greeted with letters with $40k worth of back taxes and penalties for non-payment. My previous accountant was nowhere to be found since he had retired. Jean Pierre stepped up to the task. He was frank and delivered on eliminating my back taxes for the reasons mentioned, and that I had just come back to restart my life with no income to show for. No need to call those 1-800-numbers to eliminate your taxes. They told me they will charge ~$2,000-$2,500 to eliminate back taxes. Don’t bother. They just call up a good accountant like Jean Pierre to do the work.
