Mr. Melendez represented an elderly couple against the collections division of the IRS. When the couple disputed an assessment made by the IRS for a particular year, Mr. Melendez reached out, and I represented the couple in US Tax Court. Throughout the representation, Mr. Melendez was present and attentive to assist the couple in anything necessary. We had several years of unfiled taxes. We were receiving notice after notice from the IRS and CA State Franchise Tax Board, they had placed liens on our home, and we even had a field agent show up at our home! (Scary!) We tried one company that took our $10,000 and didn't do a thing, then we found Sergio at Semper Tax. He filed our returns and got us into compliance with the tax agencies, then worked out an offer in compromise We settled for less than 2% of what they said we owed! We you have tax problems, call in the Marine! He'll to to battle for you! We'd give him 20 stars if we could!

My IRS bill was $21,900 and I made a huge mistake by initially hiring the wrong firm, who simply ignored me and madey tax problems worse.

Fortunately I had Sergio & his team review my case. I was a single mom, & self employed I needed all the help I can get.

I'm not sure if treated me really professional since I'm also a Marine Veteran or if he is just treats all of his clients like this! ( LoL)

I'm so happy that that the IRS accepted an OIC for a total of $100! The compromise wiped out my tax debt.
