As Michelle Tanner would say to her big sister: “You’re in big trouble, mister!”
According to the California Board of Revenue, Jodie Sweetin – famous for her role as Stephanie Tanner on the hit 90’s show, Full House – owes $27,445 in back taxes from 2009.
Such money troubles might explain why the 28-year-old Sweetin has been campaigning to join the B-list celebrity cast of next season’s Dancing With the Stars.
After Full House ended in 1995, Jodie shelved her acting career and began a downward spiral that included a methamphetamine addiction and two marital divorces.
She is also the mother of two young daughters and is engaged to be married for the third time.
Since recovering from her drug addiction, Sweetin returned to television in 2007 with a hosting gig on the second season of Fuse TV’s Pants-Off Dance-Off show. In 2009, she wrote a memoir titled unSweetined.
It is unclear whether her unpaid taxes is from Full House residuals or from her book, and the former child star has declined to comment about the lien that has been filed against her.
We only have one thing to say to you, Jodie: How rude!
