Here’s my story. Experiencing IRS stress was brutal. It can really weigh you down. A few years back, my little restaurant corporation hit a rough patch. I was overwhelmed by bills and the IRS. It was enough to keep me up at night! I tried dealing with IRS collectors myself at first. Big mistake. Those folks have no sympathy. When my offers got denied, I knew I needed help. Due to my back payroll taxes from an Iowa business failure, I have lived under stress over the years. An IRS collector came out to the business at that time. I can't say enough positive things about James and the team. I came to them for help to resolve a pretty substantial debt with the IRS, and was concerned that I was out of options. James took the time to review not just my taxes, but my entire financial situation, and provide detailed and thorough advice and recommendations on next steps. He's been very patient with all my questions, always responsive and communicative via email, and the entire office staff has made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the process. When we came to Ace Plus, our small business had been hit extremely hard by the Covid restrictions in CA. The IRS had sent a final Intent to Levy and was just about to put us into collections on a $70,000 tax bill, which we could no longer afford to pay. Ace Plus was able to suspend collections before they began, saving us money while they helped us create an Offer in Compromise. Although this was indeed a complicated process with lots of moving parts, James helped us organize our finances, communicate an accurate view of our hardship to the IRS, and help us creates better habits for our business accounting in order to remain in good standing. James helped us through this stressful time and ultimately got our tax debt settled for $180! Even with the fees paid to Ace Plus, the savings are huge – and a huge weight off our shoulders. We are truly grateful to James and his team for helping us to this victory.
